A&M's founders, Alex and Morris Horwitz, used to stop
when they saw fresh lumber in the road near new homes. They
thought about the needs of those homebuilders and the future
homeowners.
Today, A&M's staff envisions the same three potential

flooring needs, and the people who will move into the vacated
home in later years.
